Whidden Mobile Home Park is a 179-unit mobile home and RV park in sunny central Florida. Gary Whidden developed the park in 1982 and has been the sole owner to date. The park is a 55 and over adult community with two recreational clubhouses, shuffleboard courts, dog park, and laundry facility. There is also two
lakefront lots located a quarter mile away on Little Crooked Lake. This area is completely fenced and has a fishing pier, picnic tables, areas for campfires, and is
used by park residents as an off-leash dog park area.

A special note about the Polk County area; we have over 500 lakes with that provide for excellent fishing, birding, and wildlife adventures.

Our park has new and used homes for sale with most of lots averaging 60 x 90 which is larger than the average mobile home lot. Whidden Mobile Home Park is located in Frostproof, Florida. A small town of about 3500 residents with two red lights. Like most small towns, we have everything we need from banking, groceries, schools, and pharmacy. About 12 miles away, north or south, there are larger towns with malls, movie theaters, etc… Orlando is an hour south and we are an hour from either coast. We are centrally located in the state with easy access to all Central Florida attractions and beaches. As the name “Frostproof” implies, we have beautiful sunny weather, especially in the winter.
